A Myers’ Cocktail is an intravenous blend of magnesium, calcium, B-complex vitamins, and vitamin C, developed by Dr. John Myers in Baltimore in the 1970s and still the most widely used IV formula in wellness medicine. At Bodyloom Wellness in Frisco, Texas, we run the classic protocol with pharmaceutical-grade, sterile-compounded ingredients over 45 to 60 minutes under provider supervision. Clients come to it for immune support, steadier energy, and to close the nutrient gaps that a demanding schedule quietly creates. It is also where we most often begin, because it shows us how your body responds and gives us a foundation to weave the rest of your plan around.

Your first visit begins with a complimentary consultation. We review your health history, current medications, energy patterns, diet, and what you are actually hoping to change. If a Myers’ Cocktail is the right starting point, we will say so. If something else fits your goal better, we will tell you that instead and explain why.
Eat a normal meal beforehand and arrive well hydrated. Both make the IV placement easier and the infusion more comfortable. Wear something with sleeves that move easily, and give yourself the full hour rather than booking it tight against another commitment.
You will be seated in our infusion suite. Your provider places the IV and starts the drip, then checks in as it runs. Most clients spend the time reading, working, taking calls, or resting. Expect 45 to 60 minutes. If you feel warmth from the magnesium or a taste at the back of your throat, that is expected, and slowing the rate resolves it.
There is no downtime. You can drive yourself home and return to normal activity immediately. Keep hydrating through the rest of the day. Many clients notice improved energy and mood the same afternoon, and the effects build across a series. We will schedule your next session before you leave if you want one.

The Myers’ Cocktail is $99 per session, which includes the full classic formulation and provider supervision for the duration of the infusion. Add-ons such as glutathione, high-dose B12, or taurine are priced separately and can be added to the same bag during your visit. Bodyloom VIP Members receive preferred rates on all IV therapies. Financing is available through Cherry and CareCredit. Your plan and cost are confirmed at your complimentary consultation.

Magnesium, calcium, the B-complex vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12), and vitamin C, in a balanced fluid base. Our formulation follows the protocol Dr. John Myers established in the 1970s, and every ingredient is pharmaceutical-grade and sterile-compounded. Nothing proprietary, nothing undisclosed.
They solve different problems. A Myers’ Cocktail replenishes the core micronutrients most commonly depleted by diet and stress. A B12 injection addresses one specific deficiency. NAD+ works further upstream, supporting the machinery your cells use to produce energy, and runs over two to four hours rather than one. If you are new to IV therapy, the Myers’ Cocktail is usually where we start.

45 to 60 minutes for the infusion itself, plus a few minutes on either side for check-in and IV placement. Plan for about an hour and a quarter on your first visit, since that one includes your consultation and good faith exam.
Most clients find it genuinely relaxing. The magnesium creates a spreading warmth, and vitamin C can leave a faint mineral taste at the back of the throat during the drip. Neither is painful and both fade as your body adjusts. Tell your provider the moment you notice anything and we slow the rate.
It depends on what you are solving for. Clients addressing a specific stretch of fatigue or a run of illness often start weekly or biweekly for a few sessions, then move to monthly maintenance. Others come in situationally, before travel or after a hard training block. Your provider will give you a realistic cadence rather than committing you to a package up front.
Not always. Every client completes a good faith exam confirming medical eligibility. Labs are recommended when your history suggests an underlying cause worth identifying, because persistent fatigue often has a reason worth finding rather than infusing around. If labs would make your plan better, we will tell you.
Yes, and it is one of the reasons this drip makes such a useful foundation. Glutathione, high-dose B12, and taurine are the most common additions, and your provider recommends based on your goal. Add-ons go into the same bag during the same visit.
