Oral fluids have to pass through your digestive tract, and when you are nauseated, vomiting, running a fever, or badly depleted after exertion, that route is both slow and unreliable. IV hydration bypasses it entirely. At Bodyloom Wellness in Frisco, Texas, a session delivers a liter of balanced isotonic fluid over 30 to 45 minutes under provider supervision, with electrolytes or B vitamins added when your provider judges it useful. Clients come in after stomach illness, endurance training, long-haul flights, Texas summer heat, and nights they would rather not describe in detail.

Your first visit begins with a complimentary consultation. We review your health history, current medications, and what brought you in, whether that is illness, training, travel, or a night you would rather not relive. We understand you may simply want to feel like yourself again quickly, and we will build the shortest path there.
There is very little to do. Come as you are. Wear something with sleeves that move easily, and if you can eat something light beforehand, do. If you are coming in because you cannot keep food or fluids down, that is exactly what this is for and you should come anyway.
You will be seated in our infusion suite. Your provider places the IV and starts the drip, checking in as it runs. Expect 30 to 45 minutes for a standard liter. Most clients spend it on their phone or asleep. Cold fluid can feel cool going in, and we can slow the rate if that bothers you.
There is no downtime. You can drive yourself home and return to normal activity immediately. Most clients feel the difference before the bag is finished. Keep drinking water through the rest of the day, and your provider will let you know what to watch for as you recover.

IV hydration is $99 per session, which includes a full liter of isotonic fluid and provider supervision throughout. Electrolytes, B-complex, and anti-nausea additions are priced separately and can go into the same bag during your visit. Bodyloom VIP Members receive preferred rates on all IV therapies. Financing is available through Cherry and CareCredit.

Speed and certainty. Oral fluids have to be absorbed through your digestive tract, which slows down when you are nauseated, feverish, or badly depleted. An IV puts a full liter into your bloodstream directly, so it works when drinking does not.
Usually 30 to 45 minutes for a standard liter, plus a few minutes for check-in and IV placement. Your first visit runs a little longer because it includes your consultation and good faith exam.

Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons clients book. Alcohol dehydrates and depletes electrolytes and B vitamins together, which is why fluids alone often are not enough. Your provider will usually recommend adding both.
You will feel the IV placement, which is brief. After that most clients feel nothing beyond a slight coolness from the fluid. Tell your provider if the cool sensation is uncomfortable and we can slow the rate.
It is situational rather than scheduled for most clients. Some come in after specific events like travel, illness, or a hard training block. Others use it monthly during Texas summers. Your provider will give you a realistic answer for your situation.
Often yes, since that is exactly the situation where oral fluids fail. Come in and let a provider assess you. If your symptoms suggest something that needs a physician or an emergency department instead, we will tell you directly rather than infusing around it.
Yes. B-complex, vitamin C, and anti-nausea support are the most common additions, and they go into the same bag during the same visit. Your provider recommends based on what you are actually dealing with.
