What to Expect at Your Liver Support IV Appointment

CONSULTATION
Your journey begins with a complimentary consultation. We review your health history, medications, alcohol use, and what prompted you to come in. If your history suggests something worth investigating with labs and a physician, we will get you there first, because the right sequence is what makes the rest work.
PREPARATION
Eat a normal meal beforehand and arrive hydrated. Skip alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment if you can. Wear sleeves that move easily and plan for about an hour.
PROCEDURE
You will be seated in our infusion suite. Your provider places the IV and starts the drip, checking in as it runs. Expect 45 to 60 minutes. Glutathione sometimes produces a brief sulfur note and B vitamins a warm flush, both mild and both tied to infusion speed.
AFTERCARE
There is no downtime and you can drive yourself home. Keep hydrating through the rest of the day. Clients using this as a reset after a heavy stretch typically come in once or twice. If you are considering it as an ongoing protocol, your provider will want to understand why, and may recommend labs first.

Does a liver detox IV actually remove toxins?

Your liver detoxifies continuously through two enzymatic phases, and this drip supplies the cofactors those phases run on. So rather than flushing anything out, it gives the system you already have more of what it needs to do its job well.

What is the difference between Phase I and Phase II?

Phase I converts compounds into intermediates using enzymes that draw on B vitamins. Phase II conjugates those intermediates so they can be excreted, and glutathione is central to that step. Supporting only one phase is not ideal, which is why this formulation addresses both.

How much does a liver detox IV cost in Frisco?

I drink regularly. Will this undo the damage?

Nothing infused offsets ongoing alcohol use, and the change that matters most there is reducing it. If that is on your mind, it is a conversation we are glad to have, and we can build support around it alongside this drip.

How long does the infusion take?

45 to 60 minutes, plus a few minutes on either side. Your first visit runs a little longer since it includes the consultation and good faith exam.

Why does it smell slightly of sulfur?

That is the glutathione, and it is normal. Some clients notice a brief sulfur note during the infusion. It is harmless and fades quickly.

Should I get labs first?

If you have symptoms suggesting liver dysfunction, yes, and we will recommend a physician alongside them. If you are coming in as a reset after a heavy stretch and are otherwise well, labs are not usually required. Your provider will tell you which situation you are in.

How often should I get one?
